Mean/True Rahu Ketu
Mean Nodes are the default and are generally recommended for KP astrology. True Nodes are available as an alternative. Changing between Mean and True Nodes may sometimes change Rahu or Ketu's Star-Lord, Sub-Lord, or Sub-Sub Lord, especially when the node is close to a boundary.
Rahu-Ketu Signification
Default setting: Rahu and Ketu represent only the lord of the sign they occupy.
The other setting expands significations according to the Rashi chart. Rahu and Ketu then represent:
a) Planets conjoined with them.
b) Planets aspecting them.
c) The lord of the sign they occupy.
Layout
You can use Google to find and populate the values
Decimal values for the coordinates, or latitude and longitude, are needed.
Example Google search query: What are Delhi's decimal latitude and longitude?
Daylight Saving Time (DST)
DST is the practice of putting clocks forward and backward in many nations, including the United States, in order to maximize the use of natural sunshine.
Jyotish Portal will automatically apply DST when generating the chart. The DST value, T or F, is printed on the output. DST is not observed in India.
Calculation Engine
Classic is the traditional KP calculation method used in many reference texts and is the default. Geocentric correction is enabled by default in Classic, but you may turn it off.
Swiss is the preferred modern calculation mode. In this mode, Geocentric is always Off.
Both calculation modes are widely used. However, they can produce slight differences in planetary and cusp degrees, which may sometimes result in a different sub-sub lord and, in some cases, even a different cuspal sub lord.
